Caution ... Get Someplace Where You Can Scream!

Mrs. Deborah asked me, "Where were you 30 years ago?" I laughed and told her I was eight years old. Her inquiry came right after she told me about how she's loving reading my blog posts. I appreciate, so very much, this feedback from readers young to old and back again.

The fact that she asked me where I was almost 80% of my life ago tells me she believes she could've used the messages I write now back when she was a young wife and mom. And this further confirms some things my pastor has spoken to me prophetically about wisdom's role in my life and the way this wisdom will affect others -- specifically women.

I'm enjoying being on this journey and in this season where my pen feels like it's on fire ...

a fire blazing because of what I've seen God take me through, caused me to triumph over, and shown me has no parts with me. He's proven to me that He knows what He's talking about, that His Word really is the truth, that He for real has made me more than a conqueror, and that truly I am a creation just a notch down from the angels, who, I know have been assigned to me to help me navigate life.

Try This On For Size

Now, check out this God-given food for thought I received just before my lunch break today ...

If you know you're in a Job type of season ... in which you did nothing wrong to bring on the chaos and spiritual warfare that's seized your world (but you actually did something right)... try this way of thinking on for size ...

1. God decided to lift His hedge that once surrounded me.

2. He did this because He KNEW that THROUGH this, I'd let Him pull the warrior out of me that He put in me when He wrought me.

3. If GOD'S allowed this, why am I ashamed of the fight? Because of what others will think and say?

4. This really was a set-up! God knew I'd kick Satan's tail all up, down, and through this camp as I learn the ropes of this level of warfare!

I done stepped into another weight class! I'm wiser, more anointed, more DANGEROUS, having turned my attention to my Father in greater ways than before! I now see JUST HOW IMPORTANT HE IS, JUST HOW DONE SATAN REALLY IS, AND HOW MUCH POWER IS IN MY OBEDIENCE.

So ... no longer am I focused on the fact that an abrupt shift took place in what I knew spiritual warfare to be.

No longer am I focused on the fact that I don't like it.

I've shifted my perspective and have gotten cozy with the fact that there's a bullseye on my back that I'm gonna live with as a soldier in God's army! And you know what? I now know fear's assignment. It's to paralyze, immobilize, torment, and torture. And I realize I AIN'T DOWN WIT THAT!

Loo-Hoo-Zer-Her!

Ha! Satan! You ... lose! I'm always armed now and will forever be dangerous to you and yours. Even if you touch me, you can't really touch me! But you knew this.

It's taken me some time to find out, but now I see why this season has been sooooo hard. Because this is the season where I'll make the altar called NOW I KNOW! And I'll make my own altar calls when I need to revisit this point right here and right now ... this point where the pivotal light done come on! You didn't want me to get here, Satan! But I'm HERE NOW -- HALLELUJAH!

So, let me calm down ...

You Too!

You feel like you're to blame for what you're going through? This may be so, but guess what ... after you repent, this stuff I just said APPLIES TO YOU TOO! You can make your altar here where God's wanted you to come running to Him for correction, instruction, and deliverance from guilt and condemnation. You too are His creation in whom He wrought purpose, value, and ASSIGNMENT. Do NOT get bogged down with a rut type of mentality any longer. You've confessed, asked for forgiveness ... and are now FREE to be dangerously obedient to the Father of Lights and the God of Wonders, one of which YOU ARE!

Whew! How do I close this piece?

Wanna know where you are? You're in the perfect moment to push ahead into the purposes and plans God has for you, thus the purposes and plans He has for others whom you encounter on a daily or have not met heretofore. You've got God stuff to do. And your effectiveness hinges on your awareness of your freedom. Get acquainted with the fact that God has a strange way of liberating us (ask Jesus). The deeper we go in Him, the more costly the trip.
